Dunique stands on the beachfront in El Rosario, east of Marbella town centre, next to El Barronal de la Morena, a protected dune system of about 36,000 m² that runs for some 200 metres parallel to the beach. The municipality has 28 kilometres of coastline, four marinas and fourteen golf courses. The development comprises 64 apartments with two, three or four bedrooms and 32 semi-detached villas with three or four bedrooms, set in tiered gardens that slope down towards the sea and are planted with native, low-water vegetation; water runs between the levels in pools, small waterfalls and ponds, and viewpoints look out over the sea.
