Maralto is set in Las Mesas, a fast-growing part of Estepona's urban area, between the sea and the Sierra Bermeja. Bus stops, supermarkets, pharmacies and the Estepona sports centre are four to five minutes' walk away, and schools three to twelve minutes; by car, Estepona Marina is about five minutes away, the Hospital de Alta Resolución de Estepona and the football stadium about seven, and the Azata and Valle Romano golf courses about ten.
