Sotomar by the Sea is a collection of four detached contemporary villas in Cortijo Blanco, San Pedro de Alcántara, in the municipality of Marbella. The homes stand 300 metres from the beach and 2 km from Puerto Banús, with restaurants 100 metres away; Las Brisas golf course is a seven-minute drive, Marbella's old town ten minutes and the Hospital Costa del Sol twenty minutes. The villas on offer occupy individual plots of 752 to 889 m², each with a private garden of 276 to 406 m². Every home is arranged over a basement, ground floor and first floor beneath a rooftop solarium with pre-installation for a jacuzzi and for an outdoor kitchen or barbecue, and a private lift serves every level. Interior space ranges from 488 to 527 m², or 808 to 821 m² built in total including terraces and solarium. Clean lines, travertine cladding, floor-to-ceiling windows and double-height ceilings define the architecture, and the villas face east to south-east. On the ground floor, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opens onto covered and open terraces, the garden and a private pool with salt chlorination, while a bedroom with bathroom and a guest toilet complete the level. The kitchens are by Modulnova, with porcelain worktops and Miele or equivalent appliances. Upstairs, the principal bedroom has its own bathroom – and, in the five-bedroom villas, a dressing room – alongside a second bedroom with bathroom and generous covered and open terraces. The lower ground floor adds a games room, a dedicated office and versatile rooms for leisure or fitness, together with further bathrooms, a laundry room and the garage, with an English courtyard bringing in daylight. The specification includes hydronic underfloor heating on the main floors, powered by a heat pump, aerothermal hot water, zoned air conditioning and a home-automation system for lighting, climate and security. Construction has started; the building licence has been granted and the completion date is yet to be confirmed. The payment schedule is a €50,000 reservation, 30% on signing the private purchase contract after 30 days, 20% after six months and 50% on completion, with 10% VAT added to each payment.
